How we shop changes constantly, and retail is a fast-moving industry as organisations try to respond to customer demands.
One of those changes is e-tail or online shopping, which accounts for 30% of all purchases.

This sector provides some great starter jobs for young people, with opportunities to progress. Retail starts in apprenticeships are in the top first local apprenticeship starts. There are also some key retail head offices here such as Next, Joules, Topps Tiles, Watches of Switzerland, Dunelm and Marks Electrical with some fantastic jobs to support retail.
